Do you represent babies?
We do not represent children under the age of 7 years old and prefer them at 10 years old. Generally, baby models are cast from the population surrounding the headquarters of the company putting out the catalog. Usually the only way to get your baby in the catalog is to move to the city where they are headquartered and join the agency they work with. There are no establishments in the state of Oklahoma offering this opportunity that we are aware of. There are, however, numerous entities on the internet willing to promise the world and take your money - so beware.
What if I am already a working model?
If you are an established model looking for representation in Tulsa and the surrounding area, please have your "mother" agency submit you to us. If you have no mother agency, click on the APPLY tab and submit your application.
Is there a sign-on fee with the agency?
New talent being offered a contract with the Linda Layman Agency are asked to pay $50 annually for administrative fees. This fee however is paid back to our talent in the form of a coupon and is good towards $50 off annual training at the establishment of their choice. Details are stated in our contract and we are excited to offer this opportunity to our talent.
How do I know if the Linda Layman Agency is legitimate?
We have been in business since 1971 and have established an excellent reputation as well as being a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business.
Do I have to take modeling or acting classes?
While we are not a "school" we do offer classes in modeling and acting. They are not mandatory but are recommended to make yourself as competitive as possible with the others who are vying for the same bookings. As an example we would not be able to send you out for an informal booking if you don't know what it is.
What about Talent Conventions?
There are a lot of these all around the country and the tough part is knowing WHO is legitimate and WHEN to attend. After 50 years in the business, we know who IS legitimate, who brings in REAL talent scouts and who offers you a REAL shot. Therefore we do periodically take talent to events we believe are worthy of your attention when the time is RIGHT and you are READY.
